John Clare, Managing Director
John Clare formed J.R.Clare Underwriting Agencies Ltd in 1999. John has over 39 years experience in the Lloyd's market with a specialised knowledge of UK personal lines and commercial insurance. This extensive knowledge has allowed for the development of both traditional and innovative products. His commitment to research into the changing modern lifestyle and ability to combine this with new methods of buying insurance are testimony to his reputation as a recognised leader in the market. He is a senior member of the Lloyd's Market Association Personal Lines Household Business Panel.
Mark Wright, Claims & Compliance Manager
Our claims team is led by Mark Wright who has over 15 years experience in the market and whose knowledge and experience includes working closely with both crime prevention and subsidence claims associations. He is a member of the Lloyd's Market Association Personal Lines Claims Committee.
Paul McBrearty, Personal Lines Manager
Our personal lines team is lead by Paul McBrearty who has over 22 years experience in insurance, predominantly within a broking environment. In combining this previous knowledge he is able to understand and provide bespoke solutions to existing and new broker customers. He is a member of the Lloyd's Market Association Personal Lines Household Business Panel.

Our commercial risks business underwriter David Phillips, who has over 25 years experience in insurance, leads our team who are well known in providing an innovative approach and awareness to business and group affinity customers.
